Netrix Senior .NET Developer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Summary of job responsibilities include the following:

• Develop solution proposals that define customer expectations, and product and services requirements that are necessary to achieve client objectives.
• Develop project documentation, including statements of work, detailed project plans, architecture designs, detailed implementation plans, deployment plans, project test plans, and operational training material
• Architect highly available, scalable and robust systems
• Participate in customer facing meetings to determine business and technical requirements necessary to develop client solutions
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients
• Develop and maintain SharePoint 2010 Portals and Sites
• Ensures that applications, and any enhancements, interact efficiently to meet client requirements.
• Educate Netrix sales and consulting delivery teams on application and website solutions
• Assist business development process by supporting our sales executives with client solution development and configuration; work on proposals, project scopes, and client presentations
• Support team members in daily or emergency procedures to resolve issues of Netrix Clients
• Other/additional duties may be assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 3 years of work experience as .NET Developer, utilizing OOP Design and Development with either Visual Basic .NET or C# .NET in Visual Studio versions version 2003/2005/2008/2010 and .NET versions 2.x/3.5/4.0.
• Design and development experience with more than one of the following web based technologies ASP.NET, ASP, PHP, HTML, XML, JavaScript/jQuery/JSON.
• Debugging and analytic skills for testing and Q/A applications.
• Experience with Microsoft Office VBA development (Excel and Word reporting)
• Knowledge use and understanding of source code control applications Microsoft SourceSafe, CVS, SVN.
• Knowledge and use of databases for data storage and retrieval, with specifics in using Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Access, and/or MySQL with for creating database connected applications.
• Proven track record of project management experience including risk assessment and mitigation
• Strong customer interface skills to gather solution requirements and translate into hardware architecture and services proposals
• Strong leadership abilities and consultative skills to architect, design, and implement solutions

• Able to obtain certifications as needed
• Able to deliver projects with minimal oversight and direction
• Able to travel up to 25% or as needed

2 OR MORE REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Experience with MICROSOFT SQL SERVER 2008, and/or 2005 products
• SharePoint 2010 development of web parts and workflows as well as guidelines and policies
• Knowledge of SQL Server Replication, Mirroring and Log Shipping
• Experience with SSRS, SSIS and/or SSAS
